Job Opening: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Chatsworth, CA 91311
Schedule: Full time, in person.
Description: Growing manufacturing company in Chatsworth is looking to hire a full time Accounts Payable Specialist starting immediately.
Duties:
1. Perform a full cycle of accounts payable tasks.
2. Make credit card payments online and over the phone.
3. Ensure that bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Process checks and ACH payments.
5. Perform credit card expense reconciliations.
6. Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
7. Reconcile discrepancies.
8. Prepare annual 1099’s.
9. Perform some basic Accounts Receivable duties.
10. Prepare daily “Cash-on-Hand” report.
Requirements:
1. An understanding of accounting fundamentals.
2. 1+ years of AP experience, in a manufacturing environment preferred.
3. An understanding and experience with ERP systems
4. DBA Manufacturing/ NetSuite/ QuickBooks experience preferable
5. Ability to work with MS Excel and MS Word
6. Detail-oriented, multi-tasker and proactive.
7. Work well with others and strong organizational skills.
8. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Compensation: $25 – $27 per hour plus excellent benefits including health insurance, dental, vision and 401K.
