Job Opening: Ecommerce Manager (Shopify + Amazon)
Job Summary: We are seeking a proven eCommerce Manager with a track record of driving sales on Shopify and Amazon Seller Central to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the both ecosystems and a passion for building and executing successful eCommerce strategies.
Location: Hybrid preferred (Los Angeles, CA)
Duties:
Shopify
1. Owning site experiments to drive conversion rate optimization (CRO) and average order value (AOV)
2. Leveraging the marketing calendar to plan site merchandising updates in line with new product/collection launches and promotion strategies
3. Defining and managing site navigation and category filters to ensure assortment is easily navigable
4. Setting up, testing, and scheduling site content updates, product launches, and promotions
5. Maintaining and refreshing key landing pages, product listing pages, and cross-sell/up-sell/post purchase modules
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring together site experience, including digital marketing, copy, design, product marketing, brand marketing, operations, UX, and tech teams
7. Owning day-to-day and weekly analytics and reporting on DTC KPIs, covering category/product sales results, site performance, and promotional performance, as well as action plans to achieve business objectives
8. Conducting competitive analysis to evaluate merchandise, promotions, features, and product presentation to inform future strategies
Amazon Seller Central
1. Build, monitor, and manage advertising strategy (sponsored ads, display ads, DSP)
2. Identifying areas of opportunity to increase traffic and conversions using keyword research, sales analytics, and tracking tools
3. Establishing and managing regular account, PDP, and brand store audits to ensure compliance, optimization, and correct and current representation of products and brand strategy
4. Troubleshooting inactive ASINs, reporting issues, and catalog inaccuracies with a sense of urgency
5. Aligning with the planning and supply teams to ensure that products are always in stock, shipped on time, and following Amazon’s EDI and processing requirements.
6. Understanding and tracking performance against main competitors, building and executing plans to increase market share
7. Working with the PD team to launch new products and refresh PDP, A+ content, comparison tables, and brand store
8. Keeping current with Amazon policies, programs, and market trends
Requirements:
1. Proven work experience as a PPC Specialist, PPC Manager.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of Amazon Advertising (search, DSP, programmatic) required
3. Must be able to launch, run, and manage Amazon PPC Ads across multiple brands and troubleshoot advertising problems or issues
4. Must be able to know how to evaluate and deep dive accounts with existing campaigns and strategize on how to improve the performance of the campaigns
5. In-depth knowledge of keyword research, campaign setup, and bid management.
6. Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization with tools like Optimizely or Dynamic Yield
7. Beauty or skincare industry experience preferred
8. Strong storytelling and presentation skills
9. Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or M.S. preferred
Compensation: Salary: $115,000-$125,000, 100% health insurance, 401k at 1 year, PTO, dental, vision
