Job Opening: Hebrew School Teacher

Schedule: Sunday 8:45 AM-12:15 PM and if desired, Tuesday 6:15 PM-8:15 PM

Location: Thousand Oaks, CA

Duties:
1. Teach Kindergarten or Third grade. If you want to teach 7th grade, that is also an option
2. For Kindergarten, use the curriculum provided “My Jewish Self”, symbols and holidays and basic Mitzvot.
For Third Grade teach basic Hebrew reading, holidays and Israel.
For Seventh Grade teach Holocaust and Personal Ethics.

Requirements:
1. Knowledge and Pride of basic Judaism, including Jewish holidays, and the Aleph Bait and Mitzvot.
2. Desire to work in a Reformed Synaogue with children.
3. Friendly and warm and experience working with children.

Compensation: $30-$45 per hour
