Job Opening: Kindergarten Teacher

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Part-Time, 11:30 AM-4:00 PM Monday-Friday

We are seeking 2 elementary Teachers (kindergarten and 4th grade) to join our team part time for the 2022-23 school year. Candidates must have experience and a teaching degree to apply for this position.

Description: MMSC Day School is a private school that provides a warm, professional, and supportive working environment. Classes are small, between 10-15 children.

Duties:
1. Manage and educate students in a classroom setting
2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
3. Adhere to established teaching curriculum
4. Maintain positive relationships with students and parents
5. Document and share student grades and evaluations
6. Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:
1. 1+ year of experience in teaching or other educational fields
2. Strong classroom management skills
3. Ability to build rapport with students
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Strong leadership qualities

Compensation: $30-$40 per hour plus $500 sign on bonus
