Location:  Long Beach, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-6:00PM

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kosher Household Manager/Chef to oversee the day-to-day operations of a prestigious residence in Long Beach, California. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to strict kosher guidelines. Local housing opportunities available. Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day operations of the household.
2. Conduct daily meetings with homeowners to discuss their needs and tasks.
3. Assist with secretarial and administrative duties as required.
4. Coordinate with vendors for project bids and oversee their work.
5. Prepare all meals for homeowners and guests, adhering strictly to dietary instructions.
6. Ensure the residence is stocked with food and household essentials.
7. Maintain inventory of food and party supplies.
8. Coordinate maintenance services for both the primary residence and adjacent Airbnb property.
9. Supervise and manage a full-time groundskeeper.
10. Oversee housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness of the primary residence and Airbnb property.
11. Assist with scheduling and provide support as needed.
12. Collaborate with homeowners regarding hiring or termination of staff.
13. Manage and oversee parties, dinners, and events, including coordination with external caterers.
14. Attend to the needs of pets, including feeding and care.
15. Handle incoming mail and packages, as well as medication and household supplies.
16. Perform routine tasks such as car maintenance, shabbat preparations, and household errands.
17. Offer suggestions for improving efficiency and take initiative as appropriate, with final decisions resting with the homeowners.
18. Prepare and serve meals for Shabbat and Jewish holidays, ensuring appropriate staffing and organization.
19. Cook and label food in advance for holidays.
20. Work as needed on legal holidays and occasional Sundays, with Saturdays and Yom Tov off.
21. Coordinate vacation and sick days with homeowners, ensuring proper staffing during absences.

Requirements:
1. Previous experience in household management or personal assistance roles preferred.
2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
4. Proficiency in meal preparation and dietary restrictions.
5. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
6. Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules.

Compensation: $$60,000 to $80,000, plus benefits, 401k and PTO.
