Job Opening: Lead 6th Grade STEM Teacher Starting in August 2023.

Schedule:

• Mon, Tues, Thurs: 8-4 p.m.
• Weds: 8-3:30 p.m.
• Fri: 8-3:30 p.m.

Location: East Palo Alto, CA

Duties:
1. Annual, weekly, and daily instructional planning in STEM (Math & Sciences) tailored to the needs of each child
2. Regular assessment and analysis of quantitative and qualitative student data with the goal of tailoring responsive instruction and support
3.Instructional delivery in large group, small group, and individualized formats
4.Participation in reflection and coaching, both 1:1 with an Instructional Coach and in group context with colleagues
5.Partnership with special education teachers, behavioral support staff and related service providers to provide personalized supports for students with special needs

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in related field, Masters preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a classroom teacher
3. Expertise and background in teaching STEM
4. Speaks Spanish, preferred

Compensation: $73,000-$101,725 plus excellent benefits & $3,000 new-hire stipend.
