Location: Rocklin, CA 95765

Start Date: Immediately.
Schedule: Full time, in-office.
Description:
In this position, you will be managing our mail print and production operations
to ensure that the entire facility is running smoothly and optimally at all times. You will be responsible for maximizing our production efficiency and ensuring an inclusive team environment.

Duties:

1. Forecast labor demand and schedule staff (you will have a team of 25 – 30 employees) accordingly.
2. Manage workflow.
3. Be responsible for the timely processing of all department activities.
4. Be responsible for controlling costs – labor, supplies, and inventory levels.
5. Be responsible for accurate employee records.
6. Conduct daily shift start-up meetings.
7. Ensure a safe work environment for all employees.

8. Recruit, manage, coach, train, and counsel department employees.
9. Establish, implement, and measure operating metrics that are clearly communicated to all staff.
10. Analyze and make a business case for investment in workflow and machines/equipment to improve efficiency and productivity.
11. Participate in management meetings and collaborate with other managers.
12. Operate across departments and plan, execute, and monitor production processes.
13. Participate in local PCC and other relevant meetings and forums.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience in managing a production floor.
2. Experience with mail house operations or related fields preferred, but not required.
3. Problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to plan, organize and direct the activities of staff members.
5. Ability to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays at times.
6. Tech-savvy, experience with productivity and automation software required (including USPS Wizards, QuickBooks, Production Automation Software, MS, Excel and PPT)
7. Good understanding of USPS Postal Regulations and mail operations machines.

8. College degree preferred, but not required.
9. Proven leader with a continuous improvement mindset who is able to operate and deliver under pressure.
10. Six Sigma or other lean experiences a plus.
Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000, dental, vision, healthcare and retirement benefits
