Job Opening: Procurement Specialist/Inside Sales for Aerospace Distribution Company

Location: Valencia, CA

Schedule: Full time Monday – Friday

1. Qualifying customers to make sure that the customer is a qualified buyer.
2. Learning and utilizing our proprietary software platform to source and quote aerospace, space, and aviation-related products.
3. Handle a high volume of customer RFQ’s.
4. Provide pricing and delivery via our proprietary quoting system.
5. Customer order management and assistance. You will be directing feedback from customers to relevant departments.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
7. Locate new suppliers and sources for products we offer.
8. Negotiate with existing and new suppliers, for the best price, lead time, and quality.
9. Communicate directly with customers via, phone and e-mail.
10. Maintain and update customer and vendor records.

1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
3. Excellent phone, written and verbal communication skills.
4. Fast learner with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
5. Naturally curious, passionate, and having a “whatever it takes” attitude.
6. Enjoy working in a team environment and collaborating with peers.
7. Open to ideas, constructive feedback and suggestions.
8. Ability to quickly adapt to priorities as required in a high-growth environment.
9. Willingness to work hard and put in the extra effort to get the job done.
10. Aerospace, Space or Aviation industry experience and knowledge.
11. Familiarity with Aerospace sourcing and distribution.
12. Familiarity with things like part numbers, CoCs, CoAs, and part specifications.
13. Demonstrable B2B sales experience.
14. Experience providing customer service in the event of order issues or delays, order processing.
15. Possess advanced computer skills and demonstrate experience with software such as Salesforce, Excel, ILS, and other sourcing platforms.

Compensation: $55,000-$66,000 base salary plus benefits and bonus structure
