Job Opening:  School Nurse for private elementary school.

Schedule:  Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM-1:30 PM

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90020

Duties:

1. Update student medical records. Send emails when necessary to individual parents and grades to explain necessary medical information.
2. Deal with everyday illness such as sore throats, rashes, first aid, etc.
3. If extreme, call the doctor and parents.
4. Communicate with parents and teachers.
5. Complete documentation and assessments.
6. Monitor nursing supplies and purchase supplies as needed.
7.  Create medical teaching sessions including how to take care of our teeth, how to keep away germs etc.

Requirements:

1.  Licensed RN.
2.  Ability to pass a strict background check and Livescan.
3.  Experience working with children.
4.  1 year experience as a school nurse is preferred.

Compensation:  $80,000-$85,000 plus benefits and many paid days off.
