Job Opening: Senior Accountant
Job Description: This position is responsible for duties that may include bookkeeping, accounting, banking, finance, acquisitions, and investor relations. This team member will work closely with all levels of management at a very exciting and early stage of our journey.
Location: West Hollywood, CA OR Richmond, VA
Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days in, 2 days out
Responsibilities:
1. Creating and analyzing budgets, forecasts/projections, prospectuses/OMs
2. Creating and managing cash flow analysis/budgeting tools. Ensuring that each properties cash flows are on schedule. Identifying cash flow/expense trends and/or flags
3. Managing all QuickBooks and/or accounting software solutions and integrations
4. Creating and managing periodical reports including financial statements
5. Managing AR/AP communication with vendors/management ○ Creating/managing invoices/bills in QB ○ Managing and executing all payments/schedules
6. Creating and managing all debt/credit relationships/accounts
7. Creating and managing analysis reports/tools in order to reduce internal/external billing errors/entries
8. Working with external CPA for all tax and filing requirements
9. Creating and collaboratively implementing sales/pricing strategies
10. Will be the main POC for all reporting including investor relations communications
Requirements:
1. 2+ years experience within real estate bookkeeping/accounting/finance/analyst role
2. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (vlookups and pivot tables)
3. Ability to maintain strong relationships as an effective team member (leadership is a plus)
4. Attributes: highly-organized, detail-oriented, motivated, resourceful, results-oriented
5. Knowledge of property purchases and sales agreements (plus)
6. Understanding and knowledge of loan/lender documentation (plus)
Compensation: $90,000 – $125,000 (benefits including long-term profit/stock options varies with base package and experience)
