Job Opening: IV Nurse Consultant

Schedule: Full-Time

Location: Hayward, CA

Duties:
1. Performs CQI monitoring at assigned facilities for IV residents. Maintains a copy of these results in the pharmacy.
2.Proficient in peripheral IV insertions.
3.In-service facility personnel regarding proper infusion procedures in accordance with recognized nursing best practice infusion standards of practice and Title 22 guidelines
4.Adheres to OSHA guidelines through standard precautions protecting exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
5.Provides or assists with IV Certification Classes.
6.Assists in orientation of new IV Nurse Consultants.
7.Provides triage nursing, troubleshooting facility problems, dispatching IV on-call nurses or making on-call visits when warranted.

Requirements:
1.Current Registered Nurse License in the state of California
2. Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Pharmacy software

Compensation: $40- $46 per hour plus benefits
